I’ve been working with Kimberly-Clark’s brands since 2006. You are probably familiar with HUGGIES®, U By KOTEX®, KLEENEX® and Snugglers® Nappies. These are all KCW brands I’ve worked with.

Working with KCW brands has invovled paper towel packaging design, product sample cards, point-of-sale, 2D & 3D product renders, polybag packaging updates, press and online ads.

UBK required a packaging update for their Sport pad polybags. The product bags needed to feature the ‘running girl’ icon more, a violator update and design a new pad wrapper pattern that reflected the geometric shapes of the running girl icon.

The second part of the brief was to create 2D & 3D product renders for the updated packs. The tampon boxes featured here are also examples of product renders I’ve done.

The renders are frequently used for press and online ads, catalogues, point-of-sale, websites and other promotional material.

The latest UBK liners sample card I’ve done folds in on itself to house samples of all their liner products. Each product has its specfic features highlighted and its use explained.

The sample cards can be ordered via the UBK website and are sent out via Australia Post. Spot matte and gloss varnishes play a big role in keeping the sample cards in good condition as they travel through the post, ensuring the premium look and feel of the U By KOTEX® brand is maintained during the journey.

U BY KOTEX® offer a Puberty Education Programme for teachers to help educate girls about the changes that will be or are happening to their body. UBK provides a kit which contains a tabbed booklet and some sanitory products which are given to the participants in the programme.

Part of the brief for this job was to be as inclusive as possible and give the booklet a more contemporary and edgey look and feel, in keeping with the U BY KOTEX® brand.

I had a lot of fun with this and it’s always great to be part of a project that’s designed to empower and educate its audience.
