WHEN Corporate Identity Design

Working as a Pilates instructor brought this fantastic creative project to my door.

I love creating an identity for businesses or organisations, especially not-for-profits. Working with not-for-profit organisations is always extremely rewarding and the small budget challange that often goes with it requires real creativity and problem solving.

There is a lot of misinformation about what women can and can not do for their physical wellbeing. The Women’s Health and Education Network (WHEN) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Hobart aiming to educate girls and women about how they can exercise safely whatever stage of life they are at.

WHEN Brochure Design

This is the first in a series of educational brochures offered by the Women’s Health and Education Network. It is aimed at adult women to help them avoid or reduce the impact of Pelvic Floor dysfunction.

To save money for the client, I designed a template which allows other topics such as Osteoporosis or Diastasis Recti, to be updated quickly and easily into the template. It also ensures that the brand look and feel is consistent and engaging.

My approach was to create an informative brochure that women would be drawn to pick up, read and feel empowered by.

The brief for this project was to create a brochure that would be engaging and educational for teenage girls. This is a ‘light’ version of the WHEN Pelvic Floor - Take Control brochure, which was given to all the girls attending the educational talk.

The educational programme was rolled out in Hobart as a trial. The talks were well received by both students and teachers. It busted some myths and encouraged girls to think more about how to look after their body now and into the future.
